The glories of Connecticut cycling

The weather in central Connecticut may be ideal for ice climbing in the winter months, but for the rest of the year, the climate and the roads are ideal for cycling. Maybe even better than California. Look here, zero cars on the roads in the middle of the day. 🙂 If anyone out there is looking for good routes I am happy to provide them; there are certainly great rides north of the coast. I will try to post some of my training rides and maps. While I am on the topic, just a note of local pride that the men’s and woman’s Yale cycling teams have done very well in the Ivy League championship, and at Nationals this past week. Lady Bulldogs took a sweet third place in the Team Time Trial in Division II.  Good job all!
