Kazakh team & Khumbu icefall update (!)

The Kazazkh mountaineering website has provided the following update. The climbers had descended all the way down to the forest zone on 2 May to fully recover and have returned to basecamp. It was reported today, at around midnight 7 May local time if I read the report correctly that there was trouble (again) in the Icefall and that injuries have been reported. Praying it’s nothing serious.

Alan Arnette now has a very good update of the situation in the Khumbu icefall
